SYSTEMATIC REVIEW: FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIABETES MELITUS (DM) PADA PENDERITA TUBERKULOSIS (TB)

Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir, prevalensi Tuberkulosis, dan kasus Diabetes Melitus di dunia kembali muncul sebagai masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan. TB dan DM menjadi masalah dunia utamanya 80% pada negara endemis TB. Hubungan TB dan DM lebih menonjol di negara-negara berkembang dimana TB endemik dan prevalensi DM meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Melitus pada Penderita Tuberkulosis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic review dengan menggunakan pencarian database dari ResearchGate, Science Direct, Google Scholar dan PubMed. Artikel-artikel tersebut dipilih berdasarkan penelitian fokus yaitu faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Melitus pada Penderita Tuberkulosis. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian melalui database berskala nasional dan internasional, dari 2231 artikel didapatkan 22 artikel yang dikaji sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor usia, jenis kelamin, Riwayat Diabetes Melitus pada keluarga, ras/etnis, jenis TB, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), obesitas sentral, perilaku merokok dan perilaku konsumsi alkohol memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian Diabetes Melitus pada Penderita Tuberkulosis
