PENGARUH PERTAMBAHAN BERAT BADAN DAN UMUR TERHADAP KADAR IG-F SERUM IBU HAMIL

Abstract

Status gizi ibu selama kehamilan dapat mempengaruhi kadar hormon Insulin-like growth factor 1 dalam tubuh. IGF-1 berperan dalam transpor nutrisi dari ibu ke janin melalui plasenta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pertambahan berat badan dan umur terhadap kadar IGF-1 serum ibu hamil. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu analitik korelatif dengan desain Cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang ibu hamil trimester II di Puskesmas Andalas Kota Padang yang diambil dengan teknik Consecutive sampling. Kadar IGF-1 diukur menggunakan metode ELISA. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh bermakna pertambahan berat badan ibu hamil terhadap kadar Ig-f serum ibu hamil dengan nilai p=0,006 (p<0,05) dan r=0,427Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi pertambahan berat bada ibu selama hamil maka kadar serum IGF-1 pada ibu hamil cenderung akan meningkat. Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan untuk melakukan KIE mengenai pentingnya pertambahan berat badan ibu selama kehamilan untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin.
