Abstract

ABSTRAK

Meningioma merupakan tumor jinak pada otak yang paling sering terjadi di Amerika. Identifikasi karakteristik klinis maupun histopatologi masih jarang dilakukan di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat karakteristik klinis dan histopatologi meningioma di Makassar. Penelitian kami menggunakan metode deskriptif, yang dilakukan di Makassar dari Januari 2015 hingga Desember 2021. Karakteristik yang dinilai adalah usia, jenis kelamin, lokasi tumor, gejala klinis, serta tipe meningiomaAnalisis data menggunakan software SPSS v.20. Dari 65 subjek, usia >47,5 tahun paling banyak ditemukan yaitu 42 subjek (64,6%), paling banyak jenis kelamin wanita yaitu 51 subjek (78,5%). Lokasi meningioma paling banyak berada di regio temporal yaitu 20 subjek (30,8%), nyeri kepala sebagai gejala klinis umum yaitu sejumlah 31 subjek (31,1%). Meningioma atipikal merupakan subtype terbanyak, yaitu 19 subjek (29,2%).
